Turmeric Clay Mask
Turmeric Clay Mask from $27.99
Our clay masks are made of a blend of rare earth clays and organic herbal powders which supply a nutritional and detoxification powerhouse. We then expertly blend these powders with small-batch blends of oils and plant extracts that deeply moisturize and provide a variety of skin fortifying benefits. Organic Turmeric Root: This herb has proven to be a super anti-oxidant rich ingredient which has been crucial for those with uneven complexion and reddening of the face. Turmeric is high in antioxidants that slow down cell damage. It’s widely used as a skin exfoliant and improves skin’s texture. It helps with inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne, dry skin, psoriasis and eczema. It helps reduce pigmentation and even out the skin tone. It is also said to diminish wrinkles. Carrot Seed Essential Oil: Carrot Seed Oil is rich in beta-carotene, vitamins A and E and pro-vitamin A. Carrot Seed Oil helps to heal dry, chapped and cracked skin, balances the moisture in the skin. It is a good oil for face and neck treatments and may even help to reduce wrinkles. Organic Meadowfoam Seed Oil: Meadowfoam Seed Oil is cold pressed from the tiny seeds of Limnanthes alba, which produces an oil with superb anti-oxidant properties and skin softening benefits. Just like jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil is very close in composition to natural sebum, and that means that it’s absorbed very easily into the skin. When you use the oil on your skin, it locks in moisture and it helps other ingredients penetrate deep into the skin as well. Because of the high levels of antioxidants that it contains, and the ease with which it is absorbed, meadowfoam seed oil is very popular with ageing women who use it as a moisturiser as it can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  Calendula-Infused Safflower Oil: Calendula has been used for ages in helping to reduce inflamed skin. It is great for sunburns or burns in general as it soothes the skin and takes away the pain of the burn. This is in part due to the carotenoids found in the flowers, used in our production of this amazing oil. It is also high in antioxidants which protect the skin and brings about a youthful complexion. Calendula oil has been used in treatments to reduce crows feet and fine lines associated with the first stages of wrinkling skin. Aloe Extract: Aloe contains Auxin and Gibberellins, two hormones which provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Gibberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring. Aloe is soothing and can reduce skin inflammations, blistering and itchiness while helping the skin to heal more rapidly. Additionally, in Ayurvedic medicine, Aloe is used to effectively heal chronic skin problems, such as psoriasis, acne and eczema. Aloe leaves contain a plethora of antioxidants including, beta-carotene, vitamin C and E that can help improve the skin's natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated thereby reducing the signs of aging.
