Incense Powder - Self Burning

20 grams of pure organic and natural botanicals ground by hand into an even burning incense powder.

We wild-harvest the Pinon resin in the Manzano mountains and gather the white sage from middle California in sustainable practices. The frankincense powder we source is organic and of the highest quality. We also source the cedar shavings from woodworkers that use untreated cedar in their work.

The scent of this product reminds many of going to church as a kid. It is both clearing and protecting. It smells uniquely herbal and resinous, and many seek us out at markets where we burn it as a sample. It has become a staple incense at our home, as well as for our friends and family.

You can apply this powder to a charcoal brickette but we recommend placing a small spoonful on a heatproof plate or in a heatproof bowl, pack it down with the back of the spoon so that the surface of the powder is evenly spread, light one end and light it until the powder forms a small "cherry" or smoldering ball, then let burn all the way through. In a room with a fan, or outside with a breeze it will burn a bit faster. If the powder is not packed down it may need relighting.
